A faithful presence of love in the absences of our city.

Vision and Values

Our Vision

We exist to live, speak and serve as the very presence of Jesus in the absences of our city.

Three words summarize our vision:

Believe     |    Bless     |    Belong

Believe

We believe the Gospel. The Gospel is the good news that Jesus is the King! It is the story of how God became King. Jesus is the reigning King, and He is renewing all things. The Incarnation, Death, Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus is our hope and is the hope for our city and world. We seek to believe this. We seek to bank our hope on it. We seek to share it with ourselves, with each other and with our world through our words and our deeds.

Belong

Our primary identity as a church is family. We are a family. We seek to be a family by belonging to one another. We want to share life.  We want to live life together. We also seek to grow as a family and include others in our circles of influence. We think the primary means one becomes part of a family is through belonging. We want to be a family, a community that invites others to belong and be a part of somthing larger than themselves. We are convinced that people in our culture belong to something before they believe it, so we seek to be a community that embodies this vision in our words and deeds.

Bless

Our primary work as a family is to bless others. We seek to bless our families, our neighborhoods, our workplaces, and our city by pursing realtionships in these networks, then by offering life and the hope of renewal to them through sacrificial love. We seek to bless our city by investing in it. Not by taking from it, but by being a part of it's hopes and it's future. We want the city and the people of our city to flourish. We believe this is best accomplished when we as a community lay down our desires and our wants to serve the city. We seek to bless the city of Albuquerque through our words and deeds.

Strategy

We seek to live out this vision and values in 5 primary ways:
