I've been been a bad leader. I've had bad leaders. I've been a bad follower. I've had bad followers. Each and everyone of us falls into those categories. We follow. We lead. So what do we do when we fail to lead or fail to follow? What happens when we lead and no one follows or when we follow and no one leads? What happens when we get tired of leading or get tired of following, when we feel burnt out, worn out, want to tap out? What happens when we want to take over, stage a mutiny or a sit in, become the better leader?

Well, we go to leadership sync of course! Leadership sync is for bad leaders & bad followers, for burnt out leaders & mutinizing followers. It is for trendsetters & couch sitters. At the Sync, we connect with other followers & leaders, we chat about life & ministry, we hear the Gospel, the truth that we know that we find who we are in Jesus Christ, not in our ministry, not in our followers opinions, not in our leaders approval, and our identity in him never changes. This week we are going to look at the fuel for serving, for leading, for following. The thing that allows us to lead & follow & serve & helps keep us leading, following & serving. How we can be animated by the Holy Spirit to do what God has put before us to do. And then we will spend time praying for the church, for people, for ministry, for the animating power of God to make us into a faithful presence of Jesus.
