A faithful presence of love in the absences of our city.

Two years ago the church participated in the Albuquerque Twinkle Light Parade as "Crossroads Fellowship Church" and it was a fun opportunity to make ourselves known in the community.

Our visions as a church is to live, speak and serve as the very presence of Jesus in the Nob Hill/University/International District of Albuquerque and the surrounding city. We love our City, and we want to be a part of it. Sometimes that means reaching out to the hard places, serving those in need, and being present in the absences. Other times, it means celebrating with the City, wearing twinkly light necklaces and passing out candy walking beside a float that points to Christ in a secular city Christmas parade.

After changing names AND locations we really want to get out there and let people know who we are and where we are as City Presbyterian Church. On the evening of Saturday, December 2nd, we have a festive opportunity to do just that.

Kara Myers is coordinating this outreach event, so please get in touch with her if you have any questions, suggestions, donations, or want to be involved! Below are the work dates that we will begin working on our float at 7108 Vista Del Arroyo Ave NE:

  • Sun. 11/19 1pm after the Thanksgiving Table Meal - building/framing (bring tools)
  • Sat. 11/25 3pm - finish build/start lights
  • Thurs. 11/30 6pm - finish lights
